Get out from your house,
From your cave, from your car
From the place you feel safe,
From the place that you are,Get out and..
Go running
Go funning
Go wild.Get out from your head,
And get growing,Dear child.

It’s been far too long since I’ve done a Quoting the Quill post! I came across this fun little rhyming ditty the other day on Pinterest (I couldn’t find the author). I was feeling kinda down at the time (stress, work blues, etc.) and reading this put a small yet hopeful little smile on my face. I hope it does the same for you! 🙂

Quoting the Quill is an every other week meme created by me at Blogs-Of-A-Bookaholic. It runs every other Wednesday. Want to find out more or join in the fun? Check out the details here.
It did make me smile :). Thanks! I’ve been missing you by the way, but I understand how busy life can be. I have still never gone back to doing my blog, but I am getting lots of reading done. Reading is what gets me through the “work blues” I suffer from every day LOL.
Yay! I’m glad. 🙂
Awh, I’ve been missing you too, Cindy. Especially our book chats. Life has been so busy!
I bet – less blogging means wayyy more reading. And if it’s not right for you anymore, it’s not right. There’s no point doing it when you don’t feel like it!
Yes, reading is VERY good for work blues. 😛
Sorry you’re feeling blue.
And what can we do?
Only make sure we’re here for you!
Mmm, not the best 10 second rhyme in the world. Never mind. Have a free virtual {hug} from me and a caffeine beverage of your choice while you watch a feel-good movie. Feel better soon!
Personally, I like the Professor Lupin approach: When you’re feeling down, he gives you chocolate. 🙂
That’s ok, we all get it sometimes!
Hehe maybe not, but it was a good try, and I liked it! Thanks, always appreciative of a virtual hug. And I did watch a feel good movie, Up by Pixar. Have you seen it? It was really heartwarming. Hit the spot. 🙂
You can never had enough chocolate!
Up is a great film, I loved it. Also the most traumatic first ten minutes in cinema…I cried at least three times during that movie. 🙂
Ohh, I agree! I wasn’t expecting it to be that traumatic!
Watch the cute kids film they say… it will be fun they say…
LOL
It has been ages since you’ve done one of your “quoting the quills”!
Some of us had almost run out of them too, so here’s a nice one for us to ponder,
Thanks
I think that is the one quote of Dallas Clayton, sounds a little Dr suess but.
It has indeed! I’m glad you enjoyed this one.
I have no idea, I couldn’t find the source unfortunately. It does remind me a little of Dr Suess though, you’re right.
Yes, it’s Dallas Clayton.
This is beautiful! I love it so much. Makes me feel good. And hopeful 🙂
I’m glad you liked it! That’s the way it made me feel too. 🙂
This totally put a smile on my face! It’s great that you do this meme, I love it! It is very quick yet pleasant.
I’m glad you enjoyed the meme, Sarah! And I’m so happy it put a smile on your face.
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
