Heyy 🙂 how’re you? Just wondered, have you read Delirium by Lauren Oliver? If not I’d definitely recomend it! I’m almost finished it and it’s awesome 🙂 x
Hiya 🙂 I’m not too bad thanks, although I’m quite stressed at the moment, I’m doing my final ALevel exams cramming session for the next few weeks haha, so that’s why the blogs been a bit stagnant lately. How are you?
No…I haven’t but I think I recognise the name….I may have come across it on some other blogs. What’s it about? I’m always up for book recommendations! 🙂
P.S. Maybe you should do a book review when you’ve finished it. 😉 x
Oh wow! I remember doing A levels! really stressful! how many subjects do you do? I’m okay thanks, been a bit hectic with uni and lots of other things going on but it seems to be all looking up now which is nice 🙂
It’s a dystopian novel about a society where they see love as a drug and as soon as you hit 18 you undergo a procedure to get ‘cured’. And it’s all about this girl who wants to get cured but then meets someone and kind of goes against everything. It’s really good, and the author’s writing and technique is absolutely great! I’d definitely say read it if you like The Hunger Games kind of thing.
Haha, yeah I’m going to, I’ve just finished writing a book club catch up post with that in which I’m going to post tomorrow so I’ll let you know 🙂 xx
I do three. I also did an AS as well but I dropped that.
Haha cool, I suppose it’s quite a while back now for you. 🙂
Ahh I can just imagine, if ALevel is this stressful I have no idea how people survive University! Gulp.
Oooh that sounds awesome! Love seen as a drug…hold on a minute, I feel a Kei$ha song coming on haha….
I loved The Hunger Games and the concept of this one sounds excellent, I will have to check it out!
Hi Becky! Wow! You’ve reviewed a great number of books! That’s amazing!!! 😀 I see The Hunger Games up there:p 😀 I’ve yet to read Catching Fire and Mockingjay! 🙂
Hi! 🙂 Haha thanks, I guess it is starting to build. I remember when I first started it seemed like I would never fill it up! All the links looked so alienated and lonley. 😛
Ohhh you’ve definitely got to get reading Catching Fire and Mockingjay!! I loved them, the whole series is great. 🙂
Thanks for commenting!
Haha! Yeah it definitely is! Hahaha! Yeah been wanting to read those two for a long time now! 😀 Shall hunt for them!
If you like Fantasy/Magic type novels I would definitely recommend The Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss. They are an epic fantasy style series and much better than A Song of Ice and Fire in my opinion. The author def does not get enough credit for these books!
Hi Christine, thank you so much for the recommendation! I’m always looking for great fantasy books. It’s my favourite genre but I’ve been reading a lot of YA lately and want to get back into it this year. 🙂 I will definitely check this series out. I’m loving A Song of Ice and Fire at the moment but I’m sure these will be good too.
Thanks for reading and commenting. 🙂 Do you have a blog, Christine?
you’ve already read the whole series of Inheritance Cylce…. that’s one of my dream series… nice pile of book reviews. 🙂
Yepp! That series was one of my first ever ventures into YA. I remember reading Eragon when I was only 11, and how I felt so grown up to be reading a book with such long words, hehe. 🙂 I’ve loved dragons ever since!
