I am currently accepting review requests from publishers.
I will accept physical copies of ARCs and uncorrected proofs, electronic copies will be considered on a case by case basis as I am not a big fan of this format. I primarily read YA and fantasy, so you may wish to take this into consideration when sending your request. Please direct inquiries to the following email: email@example.com
I will consider books for review from the following genres:
- Science Fiction.
- Paranormal Romance.
I am particularly interested in books that:
- Tackle mental health issues.
- Include aspects of psychology.
- Involve dragons.
- Are set in dystopian worlds.
- Have strong female characters.
- Have interesting/detailed magic systems.
I will not accept books that are:
- Have a heavy emphasis on religion.
Before requesting, please take the time to have a look around my blog and familiarise yourself with the kind of books I like to read, my reviewing style and my rating system. My reviews tend to be quite long and detailed, and I pride myself on reviewing with honesty and integrity which means that if I do not like a book I will say so, but I will also be fair in my analysis and I always respect authors.
Please note that while I support and have great respect for self-published authors, I am not currently accepting review request from them at this time. This is because I tend to get a lot of requests and I am currently in my final year of university, which means my life is very busy at the moment! However, if you are a self-published author and think your book would be a great fit for this blog, please check back in a couple of months as I may be accepting them again!
I am also open to interviewing authors and allowing them to guest post on my blog as long as they fit the above criteria. If you are interested in doing either of these please use the contact information above with a synopsis about why you would like to be featured. If you wish to guest post, please email with a post idea that you think would fit in with the other types of posts on this blog. Please note that I do not participate in blog tours (not because I have anything against them, but because when looking at other people’s blogs they are the posts that I always skip and, therefore, I do not feel they are that effective or interesting for blog followers to read).
